How does a domain transaction work?

Apex Moon will act on your behalf to help you buy or sell the domain you want. Once we negotiate and reach a deal, the transaction will be initiated via Escrow.com, unless expressly stated and agreed upon by all parties. After the parties accept the terms of the transaction, the buyer will send the payment to Escrow.com. They will secure and hold the funds. The seller will then transfer the domain name to the buyer. What are your fees?

First off, we only get paid if we successfully help you acquire or sell your domain! For acquisitions, we charge 12.5% on top of the purchase price. For sales, we charge 12.5% of the total sale price.

Our domain valuations cost $250. This is included in the price if you choose Apex Moon as your exclusive broker.

What are the terms for your brokerage service?

Our focus is quality over quantity. We are very selective with who we do business with and only deal with a select few buyers and sellers at once.

Each domain name and situation is unique. Our brokerage service has a minimum 30 day exclusivity period, during which time Apex Moon is the only party authorized to promote, market, and sell your domain name. Depending on the domain and the circumstances, the exclusivity period can go up to 6 months.

By choosing Apex Moon to broker your domain name, you are authorizing us to use any and all resources available at our disposal to market, promote, and sell your domain name. Once Apex Moon is enlisted to broker a domain name, the seller agrees that Apex Moon will be entitled to be paid its fee in full if the transfer of the domain name cannot be made as a result of reasons within seller’s control. This is also true in the event that the seller chooses to cancel the brokerage agreement prior to the expiration of the term. Additionally, if the seller agrees to or sells the domain name to another party during the term of the agreement, Apex Moon will be entitled to be paid its fee immediately and in full.
